Day 195 - and a POV question

And yes, we are rather silent.  Everyone alive?  No role call necessary, but - here's an idea: someone asked me recently which one of the seven I had the hardest time 'getting in the head of' - which one of the seven do you have the most difficulty using as the POV character. 

After some consideration, I'd have to say: JD.  I just can't get to that youthful lack of cynicism.  

After JD - probably Buck.  Now that I think about it, I don't know that I've done too many stories with him as the POV. 

What about the rest of you?  Whose POV is hardest for you to reach?

Interesting question! I'm trying to think off the top of my head who I *have* used as a pov character -- Ezra, Vin, Chris... I think the hardest for me would be Nathan, only because he was so badly defined in the canon.

yeah, I thought about nathan but realized that I do tend to think in his head from time to time. I've only written one story that I can think of where I did Buck's POV and that was because I structured the story that way. But I've 'done' Nathan several times.

For me it is JD, mostly because I'm not entirely clear on what really motivates him.

Yeah, I think that's a really good point. I think it's curiosity but he's so - undiscerning in his curiosity that I can't quite get my head around it. That, and the more overt 'family' idea, keeping the seven together.

There are times when I find them all equally difficult. Contrary men.

On the whole, though, I'd say that I have the most skull sweat and frustration with Josiah and/or Ezra.
