Hola.

31 days from NanoWriMo.

Anyone interested in a writing fest?  A Bigbang?

Or - an early plan for a gift exchange that we could run through November and December (for those of us who are taking longer to get gift writing done?)

Thoughts?

Anyone?

.......

.......

Anyone?

Cross-posted from Daybook:

Yes, I realize that Halloween has not yet passed (nor Boogie's Halloween prompt challenge), but for two reasons, it's time to consider the Holiday Exchange.

One reason is it's getting close to the end of the year and time for it!

The other reason is Nanowrimo, which is the month of November.  Dail posted several weeks ago here, asking if anyone was interested in Nano-ing this year, and while the responses were few, what I thought might help us all is combining the Nano-challenge with the gift exchange.  So here's what I propose, and I will also copy and paste this over there:

Because things have been so quiet and it seems that there are not many of us around, instead of a direct one-to-one exchange, how about we make all gifts - fic, art, images, et ceterea - for the fandom in general?  We can work on them until December 24 (taking the month of November to actually write them, then editing in the first three weeks of December) then have open posting to
[community profile] mag7daybook  in the week of December 25 to January 1.

Of course if you want to gift something specific to someone, by all means!

And of course there are prompts if you want ideas: Randi has so wonderfully created a delicious.com list here.

Who's in for a Nano, starting this coming Saturday??
