Ten day check in

HI all!  How are we doing with the writing?   I have, since the tenth, accrued 4442 words in three fics.  All of them are fan fics, and one of them is one that I started earlier this week in response to the International Fanworks challenge on AO3: "What does your favorite character—or your favorite pairing—get fannish over?"

How's every one else doing? a few of us are also talking about adding in an original fic component if anyone's interested (you add in a number of words that you'd like to commit to writing an original fic, but it's part of your overall total of committed words) just in case anyone's interested.  I'm going to run that off my on DW blog.

That's a great word tally - go you!

Most of my days since the beginning of the year have been fat zeros, but on the good days I've accrued just over 2,000 words, spread between 3 fics. Since our lovely randi supplied me with her cool spreadsheet I have been enjoying the whole writing thing more *g* It's given me an extra level of motivation because it's such fun to see the totals calculating themselves and making percentages and whatnot (I am easily pleased, especially since I am mathematically illiterate).

Got the boys on my mind, too. Which is a good sign (and a good thing) \o/
