A friend of mine sent me this link and I thought it quite timely for here: 

The Nanowrimo Survival Kit.

I especially like the chalice, the egg-timer, and the cliff-hangers idea.  That one's really good.

Thanks for this, it's indeed very timely. And I too especially like Thine Holy Chalice, the egg-timer for sudden sprints and cliff-hangers. That last one is ingenious actually, and so simple! As far as sustenance goes, I'm sticking with tea and chocolate fingers...
