It's Saturday!!

It's a lovely spring day here, Mother Nature trying, as she has for the past week, to kill us with pollen.  Which is part of why I have been so slack about posting and seeing how we're doing with the writing.

Though I have managed to get a couple of short things done!  (Very short).

On another note, much of this post is being brought to you by the awesome SallyMN!  She created some lovely reading and writing icons (such as the one I"m using here) over at her blog. 

She also posted a wonderful list of Western expressions - "The Great and Grand List of Melodrama Jargon and Slang" - which is *perfect* for our boys!  "All horns and rattles' is perfect for Chris!  "Between Hay and Grass" for JD - as is 'Catawampously'.  I can hear Buck saying so many of these - and Ezra using a number of them as well!  Check it out!

Yay Saturday! It felt like this week would never end. I feel so accomplished, too, because I set myself the "100 words a day" challenge again this year, and last night I passed 3000 words for April. And the month isn't even half over yet. I haven't finished much yet (finished one of my vacation prompts, and gotten really good starts on all the others), but hopefully they'll be done soon. :D
