Anyone interested in a 'trial run'?

I mentioned recently that a good friend told me about a plan she's using to write: she has a beta who has demanded that six days a week, she submit 3 paragraphs of a story.  It's helped her produce a number of stories this past year. 

Anyone interested in giving this a trial run, say for a couple of weeks, to see if it's possible? Start in the next few days and try for two weeks and see if ti's possible???  We can share what we write off-list, as it's rough draft work, the point of which is to actually write not publish.  Or we can share word counts, if someone doesn't want to share actual content?

I like the idea of tracking word counts. Having someone waiting for it that often instead of widely spaced check-ins might help me stay focused.

Yeah, that's sort of what I'm thinking too, that having the 'report' daily will keep me on my toes. So you're in for word count.

How do you want to set it up?

I'm thinking to make it as easy as possible - we can post a post per day and people can comment with their count. Does that sound good?

Yea! So - you want to do a word count thing or actual sharing of text?

I'd like to try the three paras per day, sharing off-list... I'm travelling all day Friday but good to go any time that suits after that :)

You good with starting tomorrow? Our exchange of timing may be off as you're 'across the pond' and all so anytime of day that is good for you; I will probably end up sending just before I go to bed which is around 11 pm US, EST which may be morning of the next day for you. Does that work?
