Chuck Wendig in his terribleminds.com blog posted a challenge yesterday to write the first sentence of a story.
I wrote - well, way more than I needed to.
And they were all Mag 7. I need to couple one of those with a prompt and knock out a something short. SHORT.
SSSSSHHHHOOOORRRRTTTT.
I swear, I have no idea how I manage to get to these monoliths . . .
Which is all to say - YES! YES YES YES! Writing EXERCISES!!!
