Writing Prompts!

faradNot so much the prompts themselves, but a lovely list of Seven Reasons to Use Writing Prompts.
I especially like the first one, "Lower Stakes, Higher Output" - it's usually true for me, up until the story takes a turn for the more complicated. I also like the fourth one, "Learn to Think of the Fly" - prompts are often, for me, short works that let me pull something together quickly.
