I was chatting with a friend the other day who, after years of not feeling the urge to write anything fannish, has been struck by the bug and has written over 50K words in the past week or so. At first, I was jealous that it was all coming that quickly to her, but then I remembered her years of no writing at all. I think the flow of writing is different for all of us, and we just have to keep on going no matter if we're fast or slow. As long as the Little Voices are speaking to us, we have something to write down, and that's what counts.
