18th of April. How many of my fellow US-ians had to memorize Longfellow's "Paul Revere's Ride" in school? "On the 18th of April in '75 (hardly a man is now alive who remembers that famous day and year)"

And it's also the anniversary of the '06 Great Earthquake and Fire in San Francisco.

I don't think I'm going to do anything historically significant today, just keep on working on that story edit :)
