faradFor those of us in the northern hemisphere, it's long hot days, short hot nights, and lots of distraction. (for those in the southern hemisphere - it's cooler and nicer writing time! Where are our stories???)

fic_promptly , Randi wrote a lovely M7 comment fic for the prompt 'reading'. Yesterday was hobby day over there, and today is nostalgia day. The great thing about the prompts is that you can almost 'ask' for fic to be written that you want to see - you give the fandom, the pairing, and the prompt - like "Mag 7, Tiny/Mr. Conklin, old photographs' (the prompt sort of needs to fit the theme for the day, which today is nostaliga). And if you want to be very general, you can make it wide open - 'author's choice,. author's choice, old photographs' - any fandom, any pairing, and 'old photographs.
If you can't find anything to inspire you to write, then see if you can find a scenario you'd like to read. Maybe someone will write it for you! and the more of us over there, the more likely that will happen!
