Currently writing?

Hi all -

I have not managed, I regret, to write every day, but I did finish a story and get it posted, so I count that as a win.  I think my average on my days that I write is keeping me at the 100 words a day, as I tend to knock out about a page when I have the time.

I have managed to keep up with the writing on another story that I hope to finish pretty soon (maybe?).

But I'm really trying to come up with some SHORT pieces.  Any suggestions?

How are y'all doing??  Any thing inspirational going on?

I haven't written every day either, but rather in my usual fits-and-starts style which so far is just about keeping me on track pledge-wise.

Still have a number of um.. balls in the air.

And I hear you on short pieces! The only way I seem to produce them is from prompts that catch my attention. There really are a lot of good, unfilled ones on the mag7daybook delicious page. Or maybe some kind of mag7 writing exercise - like 'write the first conversation (between any of them) that took place at the end of x episode', something that would force you to be specific? And heh, would then maybe become a short piece... yeah, clutching at straws here.

Continuing to slog away at things. I haven't managed to write every day, but I force myself (okay, not force, but expect) to make up for the days I don't write, so at least I can stay even with the pledge I made, and not fall (too far) behind. Right now, I'm actually a little ahead! :D

I have started... uh, 4 new things, even though I haven't finished anything else. Story. of. my. life. But at least two of the new pieces promise to be short-ish and will hopefully be finished soon - one of them from a prompt at [community profile] mag7daybook, so there's that. :)

Prompts from daybook and [community profile] fic_promptly generally are short for me. There's also [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic; I don't go there often, but when [community profile] fic_promptly was on hiatus a while ago, I started poking around. But I'm not good at knowing if something's going to be short or not just by the prompt. ^^;;;
