Year-long challenge
Okay - so here's what I pledge to do: I am going to try to write a minimum of 100 words a day, 700 a week, 28,000 per 28 days.
I will try to check in on the 1st and 15th of each month, starting with this January 15.
I am going to be working on multiple pieces, but combining the word counts for the daily/weekly/monthly totals.
Anyone with me? If so, feel free to post your plan in the comments (and feel free to nudge me if I miss a deadline).

(I think you mean 2,800 per 28 days, because 28,000 in 28 days is very impressive. ;-) )

And, yes, dammit. Sorry, I have multiple degrees in history, which means that my mathematical abilities have been sacrificed for my ability to argue theory. We historians don't need no stinking numbers. Even the years we use are malleable and open to argument! ;)

In keeping with my last two years' efforts I will pledge 80,000 posted words between now and December 31st. How that breaks down into words per day or month I have no clue (and probably don't want to know!).
And may the Force be with us.

Yes, the Force. I was just thinking of the backstory of our boys, if they were in the SW universe. At least a few of them would have to be like Finn, former Stormtroopers . . . . And I like the idea of Josiah as a Jedi master, one of the last with the force. Chris as a Sith gone good, the opposite of Ben, maybe Vadar's later son? . . . . Buck and Leia as 'old friends'. . .
