I was out browsing Twitter this morning and found this column by David Gerrold, an interesting view of himself as a writer, and I know it reflected how I often feel about writing, too.

For those who don't know, David Gerrold is a science fiction writer who got his start when he wrote the script for The Trouble With Tribbles on the original Star Trek.
