Today is St. Patrick's Day (I assume all over the world, but I can only speak for the U.S.) and while I'm pretending to be Irish and cooking soda bread and colcannon, I'm also working on a story. It's a good way to spend the day...
Excuse the barging in, but why would you assume St. Patrick's Day is celebrated all over the world? Other than one Irish culture enthusiast I know, most people in my country aren't even aware of the existence of this holiday.
