Day 140
I missed posting yesterday. Sorry about that. But I've been pondering stuff. Stuff like plotting and character development, and thinking about the difference between plot driven and character driven stories. Along with that came the realization that, even though I sometimes write plotty stories, what drives them is character. For me, it's what makes the story interesting, it gives it heart. So, while outlining plot driven stories is usually easier, plot alone isn't enough for me, so I have to outline the plot points along the line of the character growth/change in the story.
And ain't that just a pain in the ass? Can't just note the plot points, to make it work, I have to note the effect each piece of plot development has on the characters.
So, how do you approach a story?
